Swimming Club

Looking for a fun and social way for your children to build up their swim fitness? The swimming club is running at Lahinch Seaworld since the doors opened in 1996. Made up of 3 squads, A squad, B squad and C squad, the club caters for children and teenagers, runs for two terms (September to Christmas and January to June) and trains 3-6 times a week. At present, there are approximately 140 members in the club. In addition to the weekly swim training, the club go on day trips during the year to compete in galas.  To become a member of the club, you must be able to swim front crawl, back stroke, breast stroke, and make an attempt at the butterfly. Training Schedule:

A Squad      Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am-8am and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening 6-7pm.

B Squad      Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm.

C Squad      Friday 5-6pm



Masters Club

Looking to improve your swim technique? Meet new people? The masters club caters for adults of all ages who want to build up their swim fitness and/or improve their technique. A fantastic opportunity to meet new people and combine swim fitness with leisure and socialising; club members will often go for a drink after training. The club trains twice a week for 12 week periods starting in September. To become a member of the masters club you must be able to swim one length of front crawl.

Training Schedule:

Tuesday and Thursday 7-8pm.
